Soccer Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sussex Central on Tuesday, Franklin came back down to earth. The Broncos lost 6-0 to the Greensville County Eagles on Wednesday. Franklin were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Greensville County earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Franklin dropped their record down to 5-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Greensville County, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Franklin is set to take on their familiar foe Surry County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Greensville County will challenge rival Southampton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
