Basketball Game Preview: West Carroll Thunder vs. Warren Warriors

West Carroll is on a four-game streak of home losses, Warren a ten-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The West Carroll Thunder will host the Warren Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Warren took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on West Carroll, who comes in off a win.

West Carroll is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their game last Monday with ease, bagging a 60-23 win over Christian Life. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Thunder considering their 21-point performance the contest before.

Meanwhile, Warren took a blow against Galena on Monday, falling 43-16. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 506th, while the Pirates are ranked 177th).

West Carroll's victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-19. As for Warren, their loss dropped their record down to 6-16.

West Carroll came up short against Warren in their previous meeting back in January, falling 38-30. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Warren's Lizzy Hartzell, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 12 rebounds.
