Basketball Game Preview: Hope Blue Wave vs. New Mission Titans

Hope is 0-3 against New Mission since February of 2019 but things could change on Saturday. The Hope Blue Wave will venture away from home to face off against the New Mission Titans at 4:00 p.m. Both are out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.

Hope is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest loss since January 22nd on Thursday. They fell just short of Scituate by a score of 51-48.

Meanwhile, after a string of 11 wins dating back to last season, New Mission's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Dennis-Yarmouth Regional by a score of 66-63. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (62), the Titans still had to take the loss.

Having lost for the first time this season, New Mission fell to 2-1. As for Hope, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Hope came up short against New Mission in their previous meeting back in January, falling 62-52. Can Hope avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
