Softball Recap: Riverside Wins Going Away Against San Elizario

Riverside's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the San Elizario Eagles as the Riverside Rangers made off with a 13-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Rangers, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

With the victory, Riverside broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-11. As for San Elizario, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Ysleta at 6:00 p.m. on March 21st. San Elizario also won't see the field for a while: their next matchup is against Gadsden at 4:00 p.m. on March 18th.
