Soccer Recap: McCollum Comes Up Short

After flying high against South San Antonio last Tuesday, McCollum came back down to earth. The McCollum Cowboys came up short against the MacArthur Brahmas on Friday, falling 5-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Brahmas this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-2 back in January.

McCollum dropped their record down to 4-14 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for MacArthur, their victory bumped their record up to 13-3.

When McCollum and MacArthur next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. McCollum will try to stop Harlandale's three-game winning streak when they meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, MacArthur will square off against Southwest and their 15-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
