Softball Recap: Kamiakin Comes Up Short

Kamiakin's last matchup with Richland could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Braves came up short against the Bombers, falling 13-1. The Braves have struggled against the Bombers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Kamiakin's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Richland, their victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Looking ahead, Kamiakin will venture away from home to face off against Walla Walla at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Braves are facing the Blue Devils at the right time seeing as the Blue Devils are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Richland, they will take on Hanford at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Bombers surely won't give up without a fight.
