Basketball Game Preview: Harleton Wildcats vs. Alto Yellowjackets

The Harleton Wildcats will take on the Alto Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Harleton took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 60-19 win over Big Sandy.

Meanwhile, Alto won against Carlisle on Friday with 52 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Alto strolled past New Summerfield with points to spare, taking the game 52-33. The victory was familiar territory for the Yellowjackets who have now won three matches in a row.

Harleton's win bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Alto, their victory bumped their record up to 10-17.

Everything went Harleton's way against Alto when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Harleton made off with a 47-21 win. Will Harleton repeat their success, or does Alto have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
