Baseball Recap: Louisville Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Louisville's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Caledonia Cavaliers on Friday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since February 26, 2020, but that streak is no more.

Louisville dropped their record down to 1-12 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Caledonia, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Louisville Wildcats challenge Noxubee County Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Louisville is facing Noxubee County at the right time seeing as Noxubee County is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Caledonia, they will take on Sparkman at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
