            Volleyball Recap: Wachusett Regional Mountaineers vs. Minnechaug Regional Falcons        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Grafton  on Friday, Wachusett Regional came back down to earth. The Mountaineers took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Minnechaug Regional Falcons on Monday. The Mountaineers haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
 Wachusett Regional actually scored more points across those four sets (92-89), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-21, 14-25, 25-23,  25-23.
 Julia Langhill paced Wachusett Regional's offense, picking up 11 kills. Langhill got some help from  Grace Coppolino and her 33 assists. Coppolino also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with  Ari Catalfamo, racking up three apiece.
Wachusett Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Minnechaug Regional,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 5-1.
 Wachusett Regional wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  win against Algonquin Regional on the 16th. As for Minnechaug Regional, they will square off against Amherst-Pelham Regional at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
