Basketball Recap: Kennett Has No Trouble Against Malden

Kennett won against Poplar Bluff last Tuesday with 72 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Kennett Indians put the hurt on the Malden Green Wave with a sharp 72-51 win. That looming 72-51 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Indians yet this season.

Kennett's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12. As for Malden, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

When Kennett and Malden next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Kennett will square off against Woodland and their four-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th. Similarly, Malden will try to stop Scott City's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on February 11th.
