Football Recap: Farragut Drops Season-High Score on Bearden

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Maryville, Farragut was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They secured a 25-21 W over the Bearden Bulldogs. The Admirals' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Farragut found their leader in freshman Nathan Jacobs, who rushed for 154 yards while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. Those 154 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Jacobs.

Farragut was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 270 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Farragut's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Bearden, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Farragut has already played their next contest, a 45-28 win against Hardin Valley Academy on the 3rd. As for Bearden, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 34-7 defeat against Oak Ridge on the 3rd.
