Basketball Recap: Shenandoah Comes Up Short

After a string of three wins, Shenandoah's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a blow against the St. Albert Falcons, falling 73-34. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 71-44 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Shenandoah's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for St. Albert, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Shenandoah will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Atlantic at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for St. Albert, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Kuemper at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
