Archbishop Mitty entered their tilt with San Clemente on Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Tritons by a score of 2-0. The Monarchs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tritons, too.

Archbishop Mitty easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17.

Archbishop Mitty's victory bumped their record up to 19-2. As for San Clemente, their defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-9.

Archbishop Mitty has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Ironwood Ridge on the 4th. As for San Clemente, they are taking a road trip to face off against Mission Viejo at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
