Volleyball Recap: Barry Western Takes a Loss

Barry Western lost against Illini West back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Chargers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15.

Sophie Rennecker paced Barry Western's offense, picking up five kills. Rennecker got some help from Alysa Bareis and her six assists.

Barry Western's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Barry Western didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Beardstown on the 27th. As for Illini West, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Brown County on the 28th.
