Football Recap: Harding Comes Up Short

Harding was the 19-14 winner over Boardman when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders fell 14-10 to the Spartans on Friday. The matchup marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Harding lost, don't look at Satavian Hill. Despite the final result, he rushed for 66 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries.

Harding's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Boardman, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harding will take on Cardinal Mooney at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Boardman, they will face off against Howland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans are on a five-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and the Tigers a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck.
