Volleyball Recap: Colusa Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road + How To Watch

After flying high against Winters last Thursday, Colusa came back down to earth. The RedHawks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the University Prep Panthers on Tuesday. If the RedHawks were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Panthers when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-22, 14-25, 25-20, 25-15.

Abigail Coronado paced Colusa's offense, picking up 16 kills. Coronado got some help from Cindel Oliver and her 16 assists. Marlie Berry controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Colusa's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-7. As for University Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Colusa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Williams on the 17th. As for University Prep, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Chico on the 18th.
