Baseball Game Preview: Clayton Clippers vs. Salem Rams

The Clayton Clippers will square off against the Salem Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Clayton and seven for Salem dating back to last season.

Clayton came up short against Pennsville Memorial on Thursday, falling 16-2.

Clayton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kevin Mosley, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Salem's offense. They lost 11-0 to Pitman on Thursday.

Clayton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Salem, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Clayton came out on top in a nail-biter against Salem in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, sneaking past 7-6. Will the Clippers repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
