Everything went their way against the Northland Lutheran Wildcats as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Blackhawks this season.
Port Edwards never let Northland Lutheran on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22, 25-20.
Port Edwards found their leader in sophomore Hayden Kleifgen, who had 20 digs and two assists. Kleifgen is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 20 or more in each of the last four games she's played. Elise Irwin also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.
