Gila Ridge had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Yuma on Thursday. The Hawks put the hurt on the Criminals with a sharp 11-1 win. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by ten runs or more this season.

Gila Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Yuma, they dropped their record down to 9-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
