Jacob Gibson and Jordon Pape provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Marina. The connection went for 78 yards, the longest such play in Sea View this season.
San Juan Hills's Mike Miscione recorded the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against the Vikings last week. Miscione's team topped Marina as he sprinted for 80 yards on the play and finished with 132 in all.
Capistrano Valley's dynamic duo of Matthew Gordon and Trevor Wise proved to be unstoppable against Woodbridge, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Gordon threw for 374 yards and 5 touchdowns and Wise had 169 yards receiving. Adam Gordon helped Capistrano Valley's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 131 yards.
The Cougars' dynamic duo of Gordon and Wise proved tough for the Warriors to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Gordon put up the best numbers through the air as Capistrano Valley defeated Woodbridge.
Miscione was the best running back in the league this week. Teammate Ryan Hayes added to the ground attack by rushing for 54 yards.
Wise was the best wideout in Sea View this week as Ernst Bucher's team topped Rick Gibson's team.
Thanks to the talents of Gibson and Miscione, San Juan Hills has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Gibson leads the league in passing with 903 yards, while Miscione has rushed for 425 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is Dana Hills's Sean Schulte, with 386 yards on 17 catches.
Aaron Flowers' team added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating George Pascoe's team, 51-7. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Stallions.
