Softball Recap: River Valley Mustangs vs. Constantine Falcons

River Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 18-3 to the Constantine Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to River Valley of the 14-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on Tuesday.

For Constantine's part, Jocelyn Butler made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Butler has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. Butler was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
