Basketball Recap: Agra Comes Up Short

Agra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 42-32 to the Coyle Bluejackets. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bearcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 38-33 back in December of 2024.

Coyle's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ashlee Demoss, who posted ten points and four steals. With that strong performance, Demoss is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. Cami Bass was another key player, putting up nine points along with eight steals and five boards.

Agra's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Coyle, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-8.

Agra has already played their next contest (against Davenport), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Coyle has already played their next match, a 27-24 win against Depew on the 18th.
