Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Mt. Pleasant's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They came up short against Live Oak, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cardinals have suffered since April 3rd.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15, 25-15.

Mt. Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 15-5. As for James Lick, their loss dropped their record down to 0-13.
