Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cloverdale). They claimed a resounding 77-50 win over the Clear Lake Cardinals. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Cardinals back in January, they had to take a 63-56 defeat.

Cloverdale's win on Wednesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaxson Randolph, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 14 assists. The dominant performance gave Randolph a new career-high in assists. Vann Randolph was another key player, going 9-for-14 en route to 22 points along with seven boards and five assists.

Jaxson wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Cloverdale was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matches.

Cloverdale's victory bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Clear Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.

Cloverdale has already played their next game, a 47-45 defeat against Fort Bragg on the 7th. As for Clear Lake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 70-53 loss against Kelseyville on the 7th.
