Soccer Game Preview: North Central vs. Clarkston

The North Central Wolfpack will venture away from home to take on the Clarkston Bantams at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Central has given up an average of 3.2 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Thursday just wasn't the day for North Central's offense. They came up short against West Valley on Thursday, falling 8-0. The loss continues a trend for North Central in their meetings with West Valley: they've now lost seven in a row.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Clarkston and East Valley, and East Valley kept the tradition alive. The Bantams lost 3-0 to the Knights on Thursday.

North Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Clarkston, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6-1.

North Central came out on top in a nail-biter against Clarkston in their previous meeting back in September, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolfpack since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
