Baseball Recap: Midway Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Midway's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Sherwood Marksmen on Friday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Vikings' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Midway's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Sherwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-12 record this season.

Midway wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-5 win against Pleasant Hill on the 29th. Sherwood has also already played their next contest (against Leeton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
