West Side has gone 9-1 against Malad recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Pirates are taking a road trip to take on the Dragons at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Friday, everything came up roses for West Side against Aberdeen as the team secured a 69-26 win. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Tigers are ranked 135th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Malad hadn't done well against Soda Springs recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Dragons came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 57-46.

The victory made it two in a row for West Side and bumps their season record up to 12-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points over those games. As for Malad, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.

West Side was able to grind out a solid win over Malad in their previous meeting on Wednesday, winning 73-63. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
