Basketball Recap: Estacada Comes Up Short

Estacada came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by the Scappoose Indians 45-18. The loss continues a trend for the Rangers in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost four in a row.

Estacada's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Scappoose, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Estacada will head out on the road to challenge Centennial at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Scappoose, they will be home for the holidays to greet North Marion at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
