It was a good run, but Cedar unfortunately witnessed the end of their 12-game winning streak on Saturday. They came up short against the Springville Red Devils, falling 9-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Reds have suffered since April 2, 2024.

Cedar saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sloane Fielding, who went 2-for-3 with one double. That's the most hits Fielding has posted over her last 11 matches.

Cedar's loss dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Springville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Cedar will square off against Dixie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar is facing Dixie at the right time seeing as Dixie is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Springville, they will face off against Wasatch at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Springville's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
