Baseball Recap: Ruskin Christian Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bell Creek Academy, Ruskin Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Zephyrhills Christian Academy 8-6. Ruskin Christian has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Zephyrhills Christian Academy, too.

The team relied heavily on Aadi Cayasso, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Johnielle Milian, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

The victory got Ruskin Christian back to even at 1-1.

Ruskin Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Zephyrhills Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on February 27th. As for Zephyrhills Christian Academy, they will challenge Grace Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
