Volleyball Recap: Encina Takes a Loss

Encina lost against Forest Lake Christian back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Falcons, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-15, 25-14.

Sarah Cowley paced Encina's offense, picking up five kills. Cowley got some help from Nyla Pomtong and her seven assists.

Encina dropped their record down to 9-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Forest Lake Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-8.

Coincidentally, Encina and Forest Lake Christian will both be playing Sacramento Waldorf the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will host the Waves at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Falcons will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
