Volleyball Recap: Cumberland Academy Has No Trouble Against All Saints Episcopal

Cumberland Academy barely beat All Saints Episcopal the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. While the Knights didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15, 25-19.

Cumberland Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for All Saints Episcopal, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Cumberland Academy will host Bishop Gorman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, All Saints Episcopal and Lindale will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
