Volleyball Recap: Marymount Sailors vs. Sunnyslope Vikings

Marymount is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Sunnyslope. The Marymount Sailors had just enough and edged the Sunnyslope Vikings out 2-1. The Sailors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Marymount had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-19, 15-10.

Olivia Penske was the offensive standout of the contest as she had three digs and 27 assists. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in the last 19 games she's played dating back to last season.
