Basketball Recap: Sanger Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Sanger ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They came out on top against the Paraclete Spirits by a score of 71-63. Given the Apaches' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while the Spirits are ranked 715th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sanger will take on Justin Garza in a holiday battle at at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Justin Garza will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Sanger surely won't give up without a fight. Paraclete and Burroughs will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
