Soccer Recap: Oak Park Comes Up Short

Oak Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 5-0 to the Park Hill South Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Park Hill South this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in April.

Oak Park's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Park Hill South, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Oak Park is set to square off against their familiar foe Liberty North at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Park Hill South will challenge rival North Kansas City at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
