Baseball Recap: Louisburg Has No Trouble Against J.F. Webb

Louisburg not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 2, 2024. They blew past J.F. Webb 8-2. The game was the first time Louisburg has beaten J.F. Webb on their field since April 20, 2018.

Mason Leonard was incredible, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave him a new career-high.

Leonard wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Louisburg kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as J.F. Webb only managed one hit.

The win made it two in a row for Louisburg and bumps their season record up to 3-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for J.F. Webb, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Louisburg will have a chance to go back-to-back against J.F. Webb: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
