There's no place like home for Mountain View, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Uintah Utes on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Bruins in their matchups with the Utes: they've now won six in a row.

Mountain View was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-27, 25-17, 25-21.

Jaycee Carlson paced Mountain View's offense, picking up 30 kills. Carlson got some help from Elle Richardson and her 36 assists. Richardson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Mountain View's victory bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Uintah, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-15 record this season.

Mountain View will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mountain Crest at 3:30 p.m. on the 27th. As for Uintah, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Juab on the 18th.
