Baseball Recap: Turners Falls Has No Trouble Against Mahar Regional

Turners Falls won the last time they faced Mahar Regional and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Thunder put the hurt on the Senators with a sharp 8-1 victory.

Ethan Eichorn made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kainen Stevens, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Girard, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Turners Falls' win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Mahar Regional, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

As of now, neither Turners Falls nor the Senators have any future games scheduled.
