Baseball Recap: Pueblo South Victorious

Pueblo South won the last time they faced Canon City and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Colts came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 7-3 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

MJ Molina spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on eight hits.

At the plate, Caeden Herrera was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Pueblo South's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Canon City, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pueblo South will take on Mesa Ridge at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Canon City, they will face off against Pueblo East at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
