Baseball Recap: Morgan County's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Wednesday

It was a good run, but Morgan County unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Fairview Eagles by a score of 9-8. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Cooper Fleming made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Morgan County is 4-1 when Fleming posts two or more runs, but 6-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Conner Fleming, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
