Softball Recap: Laney Wildcats vs. Josey Eagles
Laney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 16-8 to the Josey Eagles. One positive for the Wildcats, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
Laney's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Josey, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Laney will square off against Glenn Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Laney will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Josey, they will host Butler at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
