Basketball Recap: Page Victorious

Page took a 28-point loss the last time they faced off against Tuba City, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Page Sand Devils narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Tuba City Warriors 64-62. The Sand Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Tyree Stingley was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Talon Herder, who posted 12 points.

Page is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for Tuba City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Page didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 73-33 win against Ganado on the 21st. Tuba City has also already played their next game, a 74-68 victory against Window Rock on the 21st.
