Baseball Recap: Montrose Takes a Loss

Montrose was the 1-0 winner over Sherwood when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Jays took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marksmen on Tuesday. The Blue Jays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Montrose's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Sherwood, their win bumped their record up to 14-16.

Montrose has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 defeat against Wheatland on the 14th. As for Sherwood, they will venture away from home to take on Holden at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Eagles have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
