Basketball Recap: Bonham Triumphs

Pleasant Grove came into Friday's game looking for another win against Bonham, but Jk Wilson wouldn't allow it. Everything went the Bonham Warriors' way against the Pleasant Grove Hawks on Friday as the Bonham Warriors made off with a 56-35 win thanks in part to Wilson, who made all 7 shots he took to post 23 points and six rebounds. Those 23 points gave him a new career-high.

Bonham's victory bumped their record up to 16-13. As for Pleasant Grove, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bonham will welcome Sulphur Springs at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pleasant Grove, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against North Lamar at 7:00 p.m. North Lamar will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Pleasant Grove surely won't give up without a fight.
