Baseball Recap: Lawrence North Takes a Loss

Lawrence North fell victim to Bloomington North and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 12-0 to the Cougars. The loss leaves the Wildcats still looking for their first win of the season.

Lawrence North got a good showing from Owen Stone, who struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and seven unearned) runs off five hits.

At the plate, Lawrence North saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jeb Brown, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Lawrence North's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Bloomington North, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lawrence North beat the Cougars by a score of 7-3 later that day.
