Softball Recap: Pacifica Comes Up Short

Pacifica was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 17-1 to the Buena Bulldogs. The Tritons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Pacifica saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mariah Reyes, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Pacifica's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Buena, their win bumped their record up to 7-14.

Pacifica didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against Fillmore on the 23rd. Hopefully Buena paid attention to the Tritons' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Tritons at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
