Football Recap: Tolleson Wolverines vs. Agua Fria Owls        
        
		
             Tolleson couldn't quite beat Agua Fria on Friday, but the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 24-point  loss they were dealt  last Thursday. The Tolleson Wolverines fell just short of the Agua Fria Owls by a score of  27-25. The Wolverines have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Several Wolverines players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Rico Blassingame, who picked up 150 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a rushing score. Blassingame's longest reception was for an incredible 72 yards.  Amari Mitchell was another key back, gaining 83 total yards and two touchdowns.
 Tolleson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Agua Fria, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-2.
 Tolleson will challenge Mesa at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Agua Fria,  it'll be Battle of the Birds when  Owls challenges Eagles at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
