Basketball Game Preview: Unalaska Raiders vs. Ninilchik Wolverines

The Unalaska Raiders will venture away from home to face off against the Ninilchik Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Unalaska is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Back in January, Unalaska came up short against Redington and fell 40-33. The match marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Ninilchik beat Bethel 74-67 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolverines.

Ninilchik's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.3 points over those games. As for Unalaska, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Unalaska lost to Ninilchik on the road by a decisive 63-48 margin in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Unalaska avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
