Basketball Recap: Hawthorne Takes a Loss

Hawthorne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a hard 40-26 fall against the Park Ridge Owls. The matchup marked the Bears' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Hawthorne's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Park Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Hawthorne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Park Ridge, they will venture away from home to take on Ridgefield Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
