Baseball Game Preview: Will Rogers College Ropers vs. Kiefer Trojans

Will Rogers College is 0-4 against Kiefer since March of 2016 but things could change on Monday. The Ropers will head out to face off against the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. Will Rogers College will be strutting in after a win while Kiefer will be coming in after a defeat.

Will Rogers College is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Memorial with a sharp 15-8 victory on Friday. The Ropers haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Kiefer unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Chandler by a score of 4-3.

Kiefer saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trent Cantrell, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. Cantrell is on a roll when it comes to doubles, as he's now hit two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Will Rogers College's victory bumped their record up to 6-21. As for Kiefer, their loss dropped their record down to 18-10.

Will Rogers College might still be hurting after the 9-0 defeat they got from Kiefer when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can the Ropers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
